Do I Need a Referral to Book an Appointment?
We understand that knowing whether you need a referral can be confusing, so we're here to help make it clear. In most cases, you do not need a referral to book an appointment with us. However, for some specialties — specifically Neurology, Psychiatry, Haematology, and Oncology — a referral from your GP or another healthcare provider is required before we can schedule your appointment.
If you already have a referral, we encourage you to bring it with you to your appointment, even if it’s not required. Having a referral can provide your consultant with valuable background information to better understand your health needs.
If you’re unsure whether you need a referral, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Patient Advisors. They’re here to answer your questions and guide you through the booking process to make it as smooth as possible.
A credit or debit card is necessary to secure your booking. The card will be saved as your default payment method. In the event any outstanding balances due you will receive a notification before any payment is processed.
