How do I submit a referral?
To book a scan at Kingsbridge Private Hospital, you will need a referral from your GP. A non medical referrer such as a Physiotherapist can also refer for certain types of scans such as MRI or Ultrasound.

What happens when I have submitted my referral?
All Imaging referrals are checked by a Consultant Radiologist or one of our Radiographers to ensure you are getting the correct scan.
We aim to contact you to book your scan within 48 working hours of receipt.
To ensure this process is as seamless as possible your referral form must have:
- Your details (Name, address, and DOB)
- Clinical information
- Signature and date from referrer

What happens after my scan?
A Consultant Radiologist will report the findings of your scan back to your referrer. Please note this takes approximately 7 working days.
Please note that specialist scans such as Cardiac CT and MRI can take longer. In this case please allow up to 14 working days for these results.
Can I get a copy of the results myself?
Your results will be returned to the referring clinician, who will discuss these with you. If you wish to have a copy of these results please please request this from your referrer.
