When can I expect my CT or MRI result?

What occurs following my scan?

A Consultant Radiologist will communicate the findings of your scan back to your referring physician.  Please be aware that this process takes about 5 working days.

Additionally, please note that specialised scans such as Cardiac CT and MRI may require more time.  In such instances, please allow up to 14 working days for these results.

Am I able to obtain a copy of the results myself?

Your results will be sent back to the referring clinician, who will go over them with you. If you would like a copy of these results, please make a request to your referrer.

If needed, we can supply a disc containing your scan images. To request this, please submit a request here.
